ABA Therapy
A scientific, data-driven approach to understanding and improving behavior.
What is ABA Therapy?
ABA therapy is an evidence-based therapy recognized as the most effective treatment for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). It is a highly structured and scientific approach that focuses on understanding how behavior works in real-world situations. The goal of ABA is to increase helpful behaviors (like communication and social skills) and decrease behaviors that are harmful or interfere with learning.
At Baler Autism Center, our ABA programs are not one-size-fits-all. They are completely customized to your child's unique strengths, needs, and family goals. Our Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) design and directly supervise each program, ensuring it is compassionate, effective, and ethical.

How Does ABA Work?
Our approach is rooted in positive reinforcement. We identify what motivates your child and use these motivators to encourage positive behavior changes. The process typically involves:
1. Assessment
A comprehensive evaluation to understand your child's current skills and challenges.
2. Planning
Developing a personalized treatment plan with clear, measurable goals.
3. Implementation & Data Collection
Our therapists work 1-on-1 with your child, collecting data to track progress toward goals.
